Bellevue Cosmetic Dentist, Cynthia Pauley DDS, has been elected by her peer dentists to be the President of the Washington State Dental Association for 2018.
She’s Well Qualified for the Position
She has a passion for dentistry and has been a member of the WSDA Board of Directors since 2014. Since joining the Board of Directors, she has been a strong proponent of key issues facing the WSDA to make this dental organization better for both dentists and patients. She has served as a catalyst for many positive changes within WSDA. She is a strong supporter of having WSDA be a major player in supporting the underserved people around the state.
She has been active in organized dentistry her entire career and says that the most rewarding part of being involved with organized dentistry is working hard to leave the dental profession a healthy place for our future dentists. She has promoted the highest levels of oral health for the citizens of King County and has provided critical support and educational opportunities for the dentists of this area to help ensure that all patients receive the very best quality of dentistry.
Dr. Cindy is a Bellevue dentist with a private dental practice in Bellevue, WA, for over 20 years, while being an active participant in various professional dentistry activities. Additionally, she maintains a close working relationship members of the Washington State Legislature regarding dental issues.
Dental Service and Awards
Cynthia Pauley DDS, has served as the past President of the Seattle King County Dental Society as well as a member of the SKCDS Executive Board for over a decade. She has served as a Committee Member and the Chairperson of the Pacific Northwest Dental Conference and she helped initiate the Washington Oral Health Foundation.
She served as an instructor for dental assistants at Lake Washington Technical College. Also for 11 years, she was an instructor in the University of Washington Department of Restorative Dentistry, where she was twice voted the outstanding clinical instructor.
Because of her work in organized dentistry and in her private dental practice, she has received several awards and honors. She is a Pierre Fauchard Academy Fellow and a Fellow in the International College of Dentists. Both of these are international honors given to outstanding dentists based on peer recognition of their service to the field of dentistry.
