Our dentists use a team approach to oral care at Brookside Dental. Dr Pat and Dr Cindy were the first mother-daughter team of dentists in the Pacific Northwest. At this writing, they are still the only mother-daughter dental team in the greater Seattle Metropolitan Area. Dr Carrie, an honors graduate from The University of the Pacific Dental School, joined Brookside Dental several years ago to form an expanded all female dental team in the Seattle-Bellevue area. Their team approach to oral care is apparent in almost everything they do. They went through advanced courses in Cosmetic Dentistry as a team at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education in Esthetic Dentistry so that they could become a superior Cosmetic Dental Team. Advanced programs in dentistry that are attended by only one of the Brookside Team members, such as the two-year ALTO Aesthetic Dentistry Program in bonded restorations, are subsequently taught to the other Brookside Team members by the attending member. This is a unique process of dental team learning.
The team approach to dentistry goes beyond just the Seattle Dentists at Brookside Dental. They have formed an exceptional team of dental assistants, dental hygienists, and front office personnel. The presence of our onsite porcelain artist gives the Brookside Dental team a unique position and perspective on patient oral care. Beautiful all porcelain veneers and porcelain crowns can be fabricated quickly, artistically, and with extraordinary precision. Tooth color can be adjusted and finished on the spot in the operatory during the final seating if needed, which is truly unique among dental teams.
