Metal Free Crowns
Many restorations are fabricated using a metal lining covered with porcelain. These type restorations are not natural in appearance because they are opaque or flat looking because they do not let light pass through as a natural tooth does. There is often a dark or gray line next to the gum-line. We provide exclusively all porcelain-bonded restorations for anterior teeth. With our restorations you will notice the appearance of natural teeth again.
Metal Free Bridges
A Bridge is a custom device anchored to neighboring teeth that replaces one or more missing teeth. When a lost tooth is replaced with bridgework, the teeth on either side of the missing one are prepared as crowns to serve as abutments to hold the prosthetic (replacement) tooth in place. Crowns and bridges are most commonly prepared from high quality materials such as semiprecious or precious metals, porcelain, or a fused combination of the two. Aesthetics, function, and tissue compatibility are considered when selecting the material most suitable for you.
Full Mouth Rehabilitation
Full Mouth restoration involves restoring the teeth, bite, and muscles back to a natural looking and youthful feeling condition. Imagine being able to turn the clock back 10, 20, 30 years or more. Children's Dentistry
Using a giant Teddy Bear Chair to help children feel at ease in the dental setting was the idea of Dr. Patricia Pauley in 1990. Getting children to feel comfortable is a major step in maintaining a healthy mouth by preventing tooth decay at an early age. The Teddy Bear Chair was patented by Dr. Pauley and was featured in the Seattle Times (Monday, August 12, 1991, pg 4) in an article on inventor's dreams.
Children at Brookside Dental under the age of 12 are examined and have their teeth cleaned in the Teddy Bear Chair. All the young children that are first time visitors to Brookside Dental are given a "free ride" in the patented Teddy Bear Chair. After their initial visit and "ride" in the Teddy Bear Chair, Children look forward to their return trips to Brookside Dental, because they are comfortable and relaxed in our Teddy Bear Chair.
Tooth Whitening
Bellevue Tooth Whitening or bleaching is one of the most popular areas of cosmetic dentistry. Even subtle changes in shading can make someone look years younger. Several factors can contribute to the darkening of teeth, including the effects of age, certain foods and drinks, smoking, and medications. Temporary Bleaching is a whitening process that involves placing a bleaching solution in contact with the teeth causing oxidation of stains and subsequent lightening. There are a variety of systems available to whiten teeth. These include Tooth Whitening done in the dental office or dentist supervised "At Home" systems.
